Overview

The Rossignol Arcade 94 is a directional all-mountain ski for resort skiers who want carving precision with enough width for chopped snow and side hits. It returns for 2027 as a carryover with the same shape, construction and graphics. The 94 mm waist sits between a frontside ski and a true freeride tool: quick enough for groomers, broad enough to stay useful when the piste is tracked or soft. The Open package is sold flat, so bindings are selected separately.

A substantial poplar core, an underfoot Titanal Beam, Line Control Technology and VAS tip damping create a powerful platform. Full sidewalls transfer pressure to the edges, while the relatively traditional sidecut and modest rocker keep the ski engaged through a turn. SkiEssentials describes the 2027 model as a capable carver that motors through variable snow; its stiffness is predictable when the skier stays active. The width adds stability and float compared with the Arcade 84, but the directional tail and limited rocker still favor a committed, edge-driven style.

Choose the Arcade 94 if you are an advanced or expert resort skier who values strong carving and wants one ski for groomers, bumps and variable snow. It rewards speed, pressure and deliberate turn completion, and can feel like too much ski for relaxed cruising or a developing skier. Its 94 mm platform is more versatile than a narrow carver but still gives up deep-snow float to a wider freeride ski. Skiers seeking a loose, pivoty feel should look elsewhere; this is a powerful, traditional ski with off-piste reach.

Construction & features

What the ARCADE 94 OPEN is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    Titanal Beam

An underfoot Titanal insert strengthens edge hold and rebound without the full-length metal build of the Arcade 88.

  2. 02

    Line Control Technology

The central LCT strip steadies the ski and keeps pressure connected through the turn on firm or broken snow.

  3. 03

    Poplar wood core

A substantial poplar core gives the Arcade 94 its stable, energetic flex and resistance to deflection in crud.

  4. 04

    VAS tip damping

VAS tip damping reduces high-frequency chatter in the shovel when the surface becomes rough.

  5. 05

    Rocker / Camber

Camber supplies edge contact and rebound, while modest tip and tail rocker ease engagement and help in variable snow.

  6. 06

    Progressive sidecut

The traditional sidecut creates a predictable carving arc without the loose feel of a heavily tapered freeride ski.

  7. 07

    Rectangular full sidewall

Full sidewalls transmit boot pressure efficiently into the steel edges for reliable grip on groomers.

  8. 08

    Open flat ski

The Open package is sold without bindings, leaving binding selection and mounting to the buyer.
