Overview

The 2027 Blizzard Anomaly 94 is a substantial all-mountain ski for skiers who want a directional platform that can carve hard while still reaching beyond the groomers. Its 94 mm waist gives more support in chopped snow and soft bumps than the Anomaly 88, and the 164–188 cm range lets skiers choose between agility and high-speed composure. The green-and-gold graphic is new for 2026/27, while the construction and shape continue the established Anomaly formula.

Trueblend All Mountain combines poplar and beech with denser stringers underfoot to keep the center supportive while allowing the tips and tails to release more easily. Two titanal layers in the FluxForm All Mountain construction add damping and torsional strength; the upper metal is divided into sections so the ski can remain versatile rather than feeling like a solid race laminate. Early-rise tip and tail with six millimetres of camber underfoot provide edge contact on firm snow and easier steering in mixed terrain.

Choose the Anomaly 94 if you ski fast, prefer a direct directional feel and want one ski to handle groomers, crud and occasional off-piste snow. The exact 2027 test praises its stability, edge hold and high-speed carving, but also calls it heavy and demanding. It suits strong advanced skiers and experts more than relaxed intermediates. The Anomaly 88 is quicker edge to edge on firm snow, while a wider freeride ski will offer more float and a more playful turn release.

Construction & features

What the Anomaly 94 is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    Trueblend All Mountain Woodcore

Uses denser beech stringers and lighter poplar zones to tune support underfoot with a more forgiving flex toward the ends.

  2. 02

    FluxForm All Mountain

Four titanal pieces add stability and damping while preserving more playfulness than a continuous metal sheet.

  3. 03

Early-rise tip and tail with 6 mm camber

Progressive rocker improves steering in bumps and softer snow; camber underfoot keeps the ski engaged on firm snow.

  4. 04

    Full ABS sidewalls

Full ABS sidewalls transfer pressure directly to the edges and protect the sandwich build.

  5. 05

    94 mm all-mountain platform

The 94 mm waist adds support in crud and soft snow while keeping a directional carving bias.

  6. 06

    Flat ski

Bindings are selected separately; the manufacturer provides a suggested binding rather than an included system.
