The 2027 Nordica Unleashed 106 CA is a playful powder and soft-snow ski for skiers who use the mountain for slashes, drops and quick direction changes. Its 106 mm waist supplies more float than the 98 CA while keeping a compact, energetic turn shape across 152–185 cm lengths. The ski is sold flat, with bindings selected separately, so the package remains open to the skier’s preferred setup.

Nordica uses a Lite Performance Wood core with carbon stringers and no metal in this CA construction. That keeps the 106 light and springy, with carbon adding rebound without making it a heavy charger. Freeride Flow Shape uses width-specific early rise at both ends and camber beneath the boot, helping the ski plane in soft snow while remaining predictable when linking turns on firmer surfaces. True Tip trims heavy ABS from the nose and extends lightweight wood into it, making the broad platform easier to lift, pivot and release in tight terrain.

SkiEssentials’ 2027 testers enjoyed the combination of grip, pop and freeride shape, but one found the tails stiff in tight trees and wanted to keep pressure forward.
