Project 100

The 2027 Extrem Project 100 Black Edition is a directional all-mountain ski for skiers who want strong grip on firm pistes and support when they move off the groomed run. Its 100 mm waist gives it more room in soft snow than a frontside carver, while its 179 and 186 cm lengths use 18 and 19 m radii. Extrem describes it as a classic model returned in an all-black finish; the Black Edition changes the graphic, not the ride category.

The poplar core is reinforced with two full-width Titanal layers, which resist twisting and add stability and edge hold at speed. An elliptical rocker profile balances camber-like grip through the turn with rise in softer snow, and racing rubber in the tip and tail is intended to limit vibration. This combination favors a driven, planted feel. It also adds mass, so quick pivots at low speed take more effort than on a lighter, more rockered ski.

Choose the Project 100 if you ski assertively, want a damp platform for mixed resort conditions, and value firm-snow grip as much as off-piste range. Pick 179 cm for a somewhat quicker feel or 186 cm for added stability. Its weight and directional build make it a poor choice for touring or relaxed short turns, and its 100 mm waist is not as buoyant in deep powder as a wider freeride ski. Bindings are sold separately.
