Overview
The Dynastar M-Pro W 92 Open is a directional all-mountain ski for women who split resort days between groomed runs and soft-snow detours. Its 92 mm platform offers more support in fresh snow than a narrow piste ski while staying manageable when conditions firm up. The 2027 model carries a new graphic over the established M-Pro W construction, according to its exact-year test. This Open version is sold without bindings.
A poplar-and-polyurethane Hybrid Core 2.0, fiberglass and full sidewalls form the ski, with a shaped Titanal Ti Rocket Frame reinforcing its central zone. Dynastar pairs that build with long-rise rocker and Adaptativ Sidecut, which smooths the transition from waist to tip and tail. The combination aims to ease turn entry and release without giving up edge contact through the cambered middle. SkiEssentials testers describe a stable, precise ride with strong groomer performance and useful range in mixed resort snow; they also found it substantial and less willing to smear casually.
Choose it if you are an advanced skier who likes a supportive, directional platform and will spend plenty of time carving or making deliberate turns through variable snow. It can venture off piste, but its metal-backed feel favors control over a light, surfy response. The 92 mm waist is a practical middle ground rather than a specialist tool for deep powder. A lighter, softer ski will be easier to pivot at low speeds, while a narrower frontside model will change edges more quickly.
Construction & features

- 01
Hybrid Core 2.0
Dynastar combines wood and polyurethane to balance a supportive flex with a smooth ride.

Poplar and polyurethane core
Longitudinal, transverse and vertical wood layers are designed to support flex response, torsional control and compression resistance.
- 03
Ti Rocket Frame
Titanal reinforcement supports a more powerful, stable ride through the central zone.
- 04
Progressive rocker
Long-rise rocker at the ends helps the ski enter and release turns and move through soft snow.
- 05
Adaptativ Sidecut
A gradual transition between waist and shovel/tail geometry supports fluid turn initiation and finish.
- 06
Full sidewalls
Full-length vertical sidewalls transfer pressure to the edges for grip and precision.
