Overview

The Dynastar M-Pro 100 Ti Open is a directional all-mountain ski for advanced skiers who drive the front of the boot and want a wide platform that still carves hard snow. Its 100 mm waist has room for soft snow and chopped-up resort conditions, while the flatter tail and metal reinforcement give it a more committed, edge-first character than the looser M-Free. The 2027 version keeps its underlying construction and updates the graphic; this is the flat ski-only configuration.

Hybrid Core 2.0 combines a poplar wood layup with polyurethane, while a Titanal frame shaped around the binding zone adds torsional support and damping where the ski meets the snow. The metal is concentrated underfoot rather than carried as a full-width sheet, preserving a more manageable swing weight than a full-metal charger. Full sidewalls support direct edge transfer, and a rocker-camber-rocker profile balances turn initiation with a cambered platform for grip and rebound.

In the 2027 SkiEssentials test, reviewers repeatedly described strong edge hold and composure when driven, but also a stiff tail and a narrow preferred operating window: it can feel heavy or unforgiving when skied passively. It suits a strong advanced skier or expert who spends time carving firm runs and pushing through variable snow. It is a poor match for a relaxed, low-speed style, frequent switch skiing or someone who wants a playful tree ski; a softer, wider M-Free is easier to release in tight soft terrain, while a narrower piste ski changes edges more quickly.

Construction & features

What the M-Pro 100 Ti Open is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    Hybrid Core 2.0

The wood and polyurethane core is designed to blend the rebound of wood with a smoother ride; this model shares the core platform with the M-Free family.

  2. 02

    Titanal Rocket Frame 2.0

The H-shaped Titanal frame concentrates metal around the binding area to add damping, torsional support and edge hold underfoot without a full-length metal sheet.

  3. 03

    Full sidewall construction

Full-length sidewalls transmit skier input to the edges and help the ski hold a precise line on firm snow.

  4. 04

    Rocker / camber / rocker

Rocker at the ends eases entry and release, while camber underfoot keeps pressure and rebound available through a carved turn.

  5. 05

    Adaptiv Sidecut

The progressive transition from shovel to waist to tail geometry is designed to smooth turn initiation and finish.

  6. 06

    Sintered HD base

A sintered high-density base is intended to provide durable glide through varied snow conditions.

  7. 07

    Open/flat ski

Bindings are sold separately; this listing represents the ski alone.
