Overview
The 2027 Blizzard Sheeva 9 is a 96 mm all-mountain freeride ski for women who want one energetic platform across groomers, trees, bumps and soft snow. Its five lengths run from 150 to 174 cm, and the moderate waist keeps transitions manageable while the rockered ends make it easier to steer through variable terrain. The blue-and-teal 2026/27 graphic continues Blizzard’s established Sheeva 9 shape and construction rather than introducing a new design.
W.S.D. Trueblend Free Woodcore uses the same zoned beech, poplar and paulownia idea as the Rustler family, tuned for Blizzard’s women-specific design. W.S.D. FluxForm Freeride Ti adds tapered metal support around the core and underfoot, damping vibration and holding an edge without taking away the ski’s pop. Rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot help it pivot in bumps and float in soft snow, while full ABS sidewalls make pressure transfer more direct on firm groomers.
Choose the Sheeva 9 if you want a lively daily ski with enough structure for hardpack and enough rocker for trees and soft snow. The exact 2027 SkiEssentials test found strong versatility, quickness and playfulness, while its tester range also shows that edge grip and stability depend on snow and skiing style. It suits advanced skiers through experts who enjoy active turn shaping. A narrower piste ski will feel more precise for dedicated hardpack days, and a wider freeride ski will float better when powder is the main objective.
