Overview

The Rossignol Sender Soul Pro Xpress is a junior freeride ski for linking groomer turns with playful detours into bumps and softer snow. Its red-and-black edition spans 130–180 cm, with a 90 mm waist in the shorter sizes and 92 mm at 170 and 180 cm. The broad platform and double-rocker profile favor freedom to steer and smear rather than a narrow piste ski’s immediate edge changes.

A PEFC-certified poplar core and fiberglass provide elastic support, with cap construction rather than the full sidewalls of the Sender Pro Open. VAS damping addresses vibration, and the progressive sidecut works with rockered tips and tails to combine edge engagement with easier release. A thicker 3D topsheet adds scratch resistance. The Xpress interface takes a compatible system binding; it is not a flat-mount ski.

Choose it for an intermediate or advanced junior exploring more terrain, rather than for a child’s first lessons. The generous waist trades some firm-snow quickness for a more substantial freeride platform. Its turning radius increases from 11 to 27 metres across the range, making the longest size a meaningfully different choice. The Rallybird Soul Pro shares the verified construction and common-length dimensions, with different artwork and a shorter size range.

Construction & features

What the SENDER SOUL PRO XPRESS is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    PEFC poplar core

Certified poplar balances weight, elastic flex and vibration absorption for a responsive junior freeride platform.

  2. 02

    Fiberglass reinforcement

Fiberglass supports the core while allowing an elastic flex that a developing skier can bend through a turn.

  3. 03

    Cap construction

The topsheet wraps to the edges without vertical sidewalls, keeping handling accessible and helping resist edge chipping.

  4. 04

    VAS vibration damping

Rossignol’s vibration absorption system reduces unwanted vibration to make snow contact feel smoother.

  5. 05

    Twin rocker

Raised tips and tails make the ski easier to pivot and release in uneven or soft snow, with camber retained between the rockered ends.

  6. 06

    Progressive sidecut

The freeride outline is designed to combine edge engagement with the freedom to drift and smear turns rather than lock into one carved arc.

  7. 07

    3D topsheet

A thicker shaped topsheet improves scratch resistance, helping protect the ski’s surface during repeated resort use.

  8. 08

    Xpress interface

The Xpress interface takes a compatible system binding. The mounting arrangement is distinct from a flat ski; binding inclusion depends on the selected package.
