The Rossignol Sender Soul 92 is a lightweight all-mountain ski for skiers who want a playful route from groomers into bumps, trees and softer snow. Its approximately 92 mm waist combines a manageable resort platform with some freeride influence, without becoming a dedicated powder ski. This carryover uses paulownia and fiberglass rather than the newer Soul 92’s poplar-and-Titanal build. The Open format leaves bindings and mounting separate.

A paulownia core supplies an elastic, low-mass platform, with fiberglass reinforcement and full sidewalls for support and edge transmission. Air Tip reduces mass toward the shovel, while VAS addresses vibration. Camber supplies energy between turns and rockered ends ease release, with a progressive outline intended to carve or drift as conditions change. SkiEssentials’ 2026 test describes an energetic ski that can be forgiving at moderate speeds without feeling completely soft underfoot.

Choose it for an intermediate or advanced skier exploring more of the resort, rather than seeking a hard-charging carver or deep-powder specialist. The 2026 SkiEssentials test found it forgiving and useful on groomers and short wooded sections, but noted the limits of the shape in deeper snow. That test is an explicitly older carryover reference. A narrower piste ski changes edges faster on hard snow; a wider freeride ski offers more surface area in fresh snow. The light construction suits maneuverability more than maximum suspension at speed.
