Overview

The Rossignol Rallybird Soul Pro Xpress is the lavender-and-turquoise junior Soul Pro edition, built for playful resort skiing beyond smooth groomers. Its 130–170 cm range offers a 90 mm waist through 160 cm and a 92 mm platform at 170 cm. It is considerably wider than the small Soul Kid-X, giving a progressing freerider more support in soft snow and changing terrain.

A PEFC-certified poplar core and fiberglass sit inside a cap construction, with VAS damping to reduce vibration. Rockered ends and a progressive sidecut allow turns to be drifted as well as carved, while the thicker 3D topsheet improves resistance to surface scratches. The Xpress interface requires a compatible system binding. Published construction and dimensions match the Sender Soul Pro at their shared lengths; the artwork and available size range distinguish this listing.

Choose it for an intermediate or advanced junior moving toward freeride terrain who values easy release and a substantial platform. A narrower learning ski changes edges more readily on firm snow; a wider powder ski offers more flotation on deep days. The 11–23 metre radius range also changes how each length turns, so choose for the skier’s current size and control. The official ski-only listing leaves actual binding inclusion to the selected package.

Construction & features

What the RALLYBIRD SOUL PRO XPRESS is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    PEFC poplar core

Certified poplar balances weight, elastic flex and vibration absorption for a responsive junior freeride platform.

  2. 02

    Fiberglass reinforcement

Fiberglass supports the core while allowing an elastic flex that a developing skier can bend through a turn.

  3. 03

    Cap construction

The topsheet wraps to the edges without vertical sidewalls, keeping handling accessible and helping resist edge chipping.

  4. 04

    VAS vibration damping

Rossignol’s vibration absorption system reduces unwanted vibration to make snow contact feel smoother.

  5. 05

    Twin rocker

Raised tips and tails make the ski easier to pivot and release in uneven or soft snow, with camber retained between the rockered ends.

  6. 06

    Progressive sidecut

The freeride outline is designed to combine edge engagement with the freedom to drift and smear turns rather than lock into one carved arc.

  7. 07

    3D topsheet

A thicker shaped topsheet improves scratch resistance, helping protect the ski’s surface during repeated resort use.

  8. 08

    Xpress interface

The Xpress interface takes a compatible system binding. The mounting arrangement is distinct from a flat ski; binding inclusion depends on the selected package.
