Steadfast 80 DC + TP2 Light 11 FDT

The 2027 Steadfast 80 DC is a narrow all-mountain ski with a strong frontside bias. Its 78 mm waist in the shorter lengths and 80 mm waist in the 174 and 179 make quick edge changes natural on groomers, while the five-length range from 156 to 179 cm gives developing and experienced skiers useful sizing choices. Nordica describes it for groomers, bumps, trees and softer snow, but its shape is most at home when the trail is firm and the turns are deliberate.

The Double Core construction combines Lite Performance Wood with Nordica's Pulse elastomer and full sidewalls. The wood supplies a predictable platform, while the elastomer absorbs vibration that would otherwise make a light, narrow ski feel nervous. On Piste rocker keeps camber and edge contact useful on hard snow, while modest rise at the ends helps the ski release in bumps and uneven tracks. The included FDT Free Demo Plate and TP2 Light 11 FDT binding are part of this exact package. The adjustable demo interface accommodates different boot lengths.

Choose it for an intermediate or advanced resort skier who spends most days on groomers and wants a manageable ski for bumps, trees and occasional soft snow. It should feel lively and easy to guide at moderate speeds, with enough damping for ordinary resort chop. The 80 mm platform is less supportive in deep snow than a wider all-mountain ski and less forceful at high speed than a metal-laminated charger, so experts seeking maximum stability or regular storm skiing should look elsewhere.
