Overview

The 2027 Nordica Enforcer 89 is the narrowest Enforcer and the most trail-focused option in the family, but it keeps the line’s substantial, directional character. Its 89 mm waist is quick edge to edge on groomers while still giving a little support in bumps and chopped snow. Its 167–185 cm range covers agile to high-speed preferences. It is a flat ski with a suggested Marker Griffon 13 binding, so the binding is selected separately.

Nordica’s 2 Ti Pulse Core places a Performance Wood core and an elastomer Pulse layer between two titanal sheets. The wood supplies support, metal adds torsional strength, and elastomer absorbs vibration for a smoother ride under pressure. All-Mountain rocker combines camber underfoot with rise at the ends, while the Unlocked Tail Shape adds tail rise that makes pivoting easier in tighter terrain. True Tip extends lightweight wood into the tip, trimming heavy ABS for a quicker, less cumbersome swing without abandoning stability.

Choose the Enforcer 89 for an advanced or expert skier who spends most days on groomers but wants one directional ski for bumps, crud and occasional softer snow. SkiEssentials’ exact 2027 test praises its edge hold, damping and confidence at speed, while noting that it demands concentration and is not a float-first ski. It suits aggressive carving and reliable all-mountain laps on a firm base. A wider Enforcer will offer more soft-snow support; a lighter, softer ski will be easier for relaxed intermediates.

Construction & features

What the Enforcer 89 is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    2 Ti Pulse Core

Two titanal sheets surround the wood and elastomer core, adding edge support and vibration control while preserving an energetic, directional feel.

  2. 02

    Pulse Core elastomer

The elastomer layer absorbs high-frequency vibration between the wood and metal, smoothing rough snow without making the ski feel lifeless.

  3. 03

    Unlocked Tail Shape

Additional tail rise lets the skier pivot at slower speeds and in tight terrain while retaining support when the ski is driven on edge.

  4. 04

    True Tip

Lightweight wood extends into the tip where heavy ABS is trimmed, reducing swing weight and making the ski easier to maneuver.

  5. 05

    All-Mountain rocker/camber

Camber underfoot supports grip on groomers while rocker at the ends eases turn entry and helps the ski move through bumps and variable snow.

  6. 06

    89 mm flat platform

The narrow Enforcer waist transitions quickly on firm snow and adds some off-piste support, though it cannot match wider skis in deep snow.
