Overview

For 2026/27, HEAD’s Supershape e-Titan is the widest member of the carving-focused Supershape range. Its 84 mm waist gives it more platform than a conventional frontside ski, but the shape and construction still make groomed runs its natural home. The model remains a strong, race-inspired carver rather than a true all-mountain ski; the current HEAD catalog pairs it with a Better Balance PR plate and Protector EVO PR 13 GW binding.

HEAD lists Crossforce Carbon, Worldcup Sandwich Cap Construction, EMC, Graphene, a structured UHM C base and Speed Rocker. The sandwich build combines wood with Titanal and Graphene for a substantial, responsive chassis. Crossforce Carbon connects the binding area to the ski’s carbon construction for direct power transfer, while EMC is designed to filter unwanted vibration. A modest tip rocker eases the start of a turn; camber and the longer effective edge support grip through the rest of the arc.

Choose the e-Titan if you want a powerful carver with a wider platform for broken groomers and can pressure a fairly demanding ski. SkiEssentials’ 2027 testers repeatedly praised its firm-snow grip and composed, energetic turns, while also describing it as frontside-first and less appealing in deeper snow or away from groomed terrain. It can handle some variable resort snow, but the 84 mm waist does not turn it into a powder ski. Skiers seeking lighter steering or a more relaxed pace should look to a softer, narrower carver.

Construction & features

What the Supershape e-Titan is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    Worldcup Sandwich Cap construction

HEAD’s sandwich construction combines a wood core with reinforcement layers to create the solid, responsive platform expected of a performance piste ski.

  2. 02

    Titanal reinforcement

Metal reinforcement adds stiffness and damping, supporting grip and composure when carving on firm snow.

  3. 03

    Crossforce Carbon

Carbon runs from the binding area into the ski construction, giving boot pressure a direct route into the ski for precise response on edge.

  4. 04

    EMC vibration damping

The Energy Management Circuit is HEAD’s vibration-filtering system, intended to reduce unwanted chatter and keep the ski’s contact with the snow more composed.

  5. 05

    Speed Rocker

A small amount of tip rocker helps the shovel enter a turn smoothly, while camber underfoot maintains edge contact and rebound.

  6. 06

    Better Balance PR plate

The Better Balance PR plate is designed to keep the boot ramp angle consistent across boot-sole lengths, supporting a balanced stance on the ski.

  7. 07

Protector EVO PR 13 GW binding

This cataloged configuration includes the Protector EVO PR 13 GW binding mounted on the PR system plate.
