Overview

The 2027 Sheeva Team is a junior freeride ski for young women and girls who want playful access to powder, trees, bumps and groomers. It uses the same 132–164 cm length range and 90/92 mm waist progression as the Rustler Team, giving growing skiers a stable base for exploring more of the mountain. The purple-and-pink graphic connects it visually to the Sheeva family, while the actual build is a dedicated junior woodcore ski rather than an adult Sheeva model.

The full woodcore uses beech and poplar in a vertical laminate that keeps the flex lively and supportive without adding adult freeride metal. Full ABS sidewalls help pass pressure to the edges, and the rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot make the ski easier to steer through changing terrain. A 90 mm waist in the shorter lengths and 92 mm in the 156 and 164 cm sizes add float and stability while keeping edge changes reasonable for a developing skier.

Choose the Sheeva Team for an intermediate to advanced junior who is ready to move beyond narrow piste skis and wants one playful tool for the whole resort. The listing is flat; Blizzard suggests a Marker Royal Family binding with a 100 mm brake, but no binding is included. Its junior construction is more manageable than the adult Sheeva 9, which uses metal reinforcement for stronger skiers. Beginners may prefer a shorter, softer learning package.

Construction & features

What the Sheeva Team is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    Beech/poplar woodcore

Vertically laminated beech and poplar provide elastic support and rebound for progressing juniors, with fiberglass reinforcement rather than the adult family’s Titanal construction.

  2. 02

Rockered tip, camber underfoot, rockered tail

Rocker at both ends helps young skiers pivot and float, while camber underfoot maintains edge contact.

  3. 03

    Full ABS sidewalls

Full ABS sidewalls transfer pressure to the edges and add durability.

  4. 04

    90–92 mm junior freeride platform

The waist widens to 92 mm in the two longest sizes for extra support in soft snow.

  5. 05

    Flat ski

Bindings are supplied separately, allowing an appropriate junior setup to be selected.
