Overview

The Blizzard Sheeva 11 is the powder-focused end of the women’s freeride range. Its 112 mm waist and rockered ends suit deep snow, open faces and playful lines through soft terrain. Three lengths from 168 to 180 cm span 16–19 metre radii. The 2027 SkiEssentials test identifies a carryover construction, shape and graphic.

W.S.D. Trueblend Free zones beech, poplar and paulownia to support the middle while allowing easier flex toward the tip and tail. W.S.D. FluxForm Freeride Ti adds metal reinforcement for damping, edge support and a more substantial platform underfoot. Rocker lets the ends plane and pivot in soft snow; camber and full ABS sidewalls keep useful contact when traversing firmer sections. The resulting feel combines flotation with more support than an especially soft, light powder ski.

Choose it for an advanced or expert skier who prioritizes deep-snow performance and has the room and technique to use its width. SkiEssentials testers liked its float and soft-snow character, but some found it heavy or less agile in unsuitable conditions. Tight, firm bumps and frequent edge changes take more effort than on a narrower ski. The Sheeva 10 is the more adaptable choice for mixed resort days, while the 11 makes sense when soft snow is a regular objective.

Construction & features

What the Sheeva 11 is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    W.S.D. Trueblend Free Woodcore

Beech, poplar and paulownia stringers are zoned to support the center while keeping the ends easier to flex for release and flotation.

  2. 02

    W.S.D. FluxForm Freeride Ti

Tapered titanal reinforcement combines a float-friendly tip with a supportive tail for damping, stability and stronger landings.

  3. 03

Rockered tip, camber underfoot, rockered tail

Rocker at both ends helps the ski pivot and plane in soft snow, while camber underfoot retains useful edge contact on firm sections.

  4. 04

    Full ABS sidewalls

Full ABS sidewalls transmit pressure into the edge and add protection for a ski intended for demanding freeride terrain.

  5. 05

    112 mm powder platform

The 112 mm waist gives clear flotation and landing support, with a shape aimed at open soft snow rather than quick groomer laps.

  6. 06

    Flat ski

Bindings are selected separately; the manufacturer provides a suggested binding rather than an included system.
