Overview

The 2027 Blizzard Phoenix 80 CA + TPC 11 W is a women-specific piste package built for accessible carving and everyday groomer laps. Its 80 mm waist and 11–14 m radii make it nimble in short and medium turns, while the TPC 11 binding adapts to different boots. The five-length range runs from 150 to 170 cm. It is intended for frontside snow and routine resort conditions rather than deep powder or technical touring.

A full woodcore sits in Blizzard’s W.S.D. Sandwich Partial Sidewall construction, with a shallow 2 mm early-rise tip. The woodcore gives the ski a supportive platform as pressure builds through a turn, while partial ABS sidewalls connect that pressure to the edges. At 80 mm underfoot, it remains narrow enough for regular edge changes on groomed runs without the particularly narrow platform of a dedicated race carver. The small amount of tip rise helps the ski enter turns when the surface becomes uneven; it does not turn this piste shape into a powder ski.

Choose the Phoenix 80 CA for an intermediate woman who wants accessible carving and an adjustable binding package for everyday resort skiing. Its short-to-medium radii suit linked turns and controlled speeds. Blizzard positions this as an approachable frontside ski, so a more powerful carver is the better choice for an aggressive skier prioritizing high-speed support on rough hardpack. Its modest width also limits flotation: choose a wider all-mountain model when soft snow away from the groomers is a regular part of the day.
