The 2027 Blizzard Black Pearl 84 is the narrow, carving-focused member of Blizzard’s women’s Black Pearl family. Its 84 mm waist moves quickly between edges on groomers and hardpack, while rocker at the tip and tail keeps it useful in bumps, trees and soft edges beside the piste. SkiEssentials says this year brings a graphic change while the platform returns unchanged, retaining its frontside bias.

W.S.D. FluxForm All Mountain and the W.S.D. Trueblend All Mountain woodcore combine tuned wood with metal reinforcement for a sturdy, energetic ski. The 6 mm camber underfoot gives pressure through the middle of the turn; early rise at both ends helps the ski enter and exit without feeling locked into one radius. Full ABS sidewalls pass boot pressure to the edges, which makes the Black Pearl precise and calm on firm snow. The 84 mm platform remains nimble enough for short turns and packed bumps.

Choose it for an intermediate through expert skier who spends most days on groomers but wants a genuine all mountain option for moguls, trees and changing resort snow. Testers found it quick, smooth and strong on hardpack, with useful versatility when the skier supplies balanced input.
