Overview

The 2027 Anomaly JR (110–150) is a junior all-mountain package for building confident piste turns while beginning to venture onto varied resort terrain. Its five lengths from 110 to 150 cm keep the progression focused on growing skiers, with a 67–70 mm waist that stays quick edge to edge. The supplied FDT JR 7 binding makes this a complete package, while the exact plate format follows the ski length.

The JR Composite core and capped construction are designed around an accessible junior flex. Blizzard pairs that build with its All Mountain Easy profile and a moderate sidecut progression, giving developing skiers a predictable platform for linked turns and controlled speed. The narrower waist favors groomers, bumps and light side-of-piste snow rather than deep-powder flotation. A capped sidewall construction keeps the feel forgiving and easy to manage when technique is still developing.

Choose this package for a beginner or intermediate junior who is progressing beyond first skis and wants one resort ski for lessons, groomers and occasional mixed snow. The FDT JR 7 binding reaches DIN 7, but binding adjustment must be matched professionally to the child and boot. The 110 cm uses the shorter plate format and 120–150 cm use the longer format. A race junior ski would offer a more demanding precision focus; a wider freeride junior ski makes more sense for regular soft-snow use.
