Overview

The Rossignol Forza 70 Ti is a high-performance frontside carver for advanced and expert skiers who make groomed snow the centre of their day. For 2027 it carries over the previous shape, graphics and construction. Rossignol's 77 mm waist is wide for a dedicated piste ski, but the Forza numbering refers to the intended edge angle and aggressiveness rather than waist width. The oversized outline and 13–15 m listed radii make deep, energetic turns the point of the ski, while the KONECT system package provides the integrated plate and binding interface.

A poplar core, full Titanal construction, V-Profile and Line Control Technology give the Forza 70 the torsional backbone for high edge angles and fast transitions. The broad shovel and oversized sidecut help it lock into a long carve while still turning readily, and full sidewalls direct pressure into the edges on hardpack. SkiEssentials testers consistently placed it on groomers, with strong reports of precision, quickness and stability; testers describe an energetic, responsive ride that rewards an active stance rather than an upright, laid-back approach.

Pick it when carving performance matters more than powder range or casual versatility. It suits an expert who can stay balanced over a firm ski and wants to vary between short, medium and high-angle arcs. The metal-heavy platform can feel serious at slower speeds, and the 77 mm waist still offers little float in deep snow. Skiers building carving skills or seeking an easier daily resort ski should step down to the Forza 60 or choose a softer, more forgiving piste model.

Construction & features

What the FORZA 70 TI KONECT is built from, and what that means on snow.

  1. 01

    V-Profile

The V-shaped profile balances torsional support and longitudinal flex so the ski remains powerful while entering a carved turn cleanly.

  2. 02

    Full Titanal construction

A full Titanal layer adds edge support, damping and resistance to twisting when the ski is driven at high angles on firm snow.

  3. 03

    Line Control Technology

LCT reinforcement keeps force connected along the length of the ski and helps filter vibration without making the response vague.

  4. 04

    Poplar wood core

Poplar forms the responsive wood core under the metal reinforcement, contributing rebound as the ski exits the turn.

  5. 05

    Oversized sidecut

The oversized sidecut creates a large effective edge and deep arc when the skier commits to a high edge angle.

  6. 06

    Rectangular Full Sidewall

Full sidewalls transfer boot pressure directly to the edges for strong grip on prepared pistes.

  7. 07

    KONECT system

The KONECT plate and supplied system binding provide a direct mounting interface tuned to the ski's intended piste performance.
